Kimberly Kuhn has dedicated 20+ years of her practice to the area of family law. Kim is licensed in both Ohio and Michigan and handles divorce cases, paternity and custody cases, post-judgment enforcement issues, modification of child and spousal support, custody and parenting time, and complicated interstate custody matters involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act. She has also handled grandparent rights, third-party custody cases, and change of domicile cases. Kim practices in the Ohio counties Lucas and Wood and the Michigan counties Monroe and Lenawee.
Kim attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and then transferred to Eastern Michigan University, where she graduated with honors. Kim graduated cum laude from The University of Toledo College of Law in 1995. Kim spent two years at The University of Toledo Law Review and was a Student Articles Editor in her second year. Kim's law review note, "Battered Woman Syndrome Testimony: Dunn v. Roberts, Justice Is Done By The Expansion Of The Battered Woman Syndrome," was published in the 25th edition of the University of Toledo Law Review and has been cited in other college law review notes.
During law school, Kim was a clerk for the Honorable Michael W. Labeau of the 38th Circuit Court in Monroe County, Michigan. After graduating from The University of Toledo College of Law, Kim was a staff attorney for the late Honorable Frederick H. McDonald of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas General Division. Kim also has been appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem in Lucas and Wood County Domestic Relations cases.

Carmen Moyer has dedicated 18+ of her 20 years as a lawyer to the practice of family law. Carmen has handled divorce cases, litigated pre and postnuptial agreements (as well as drafted them), paternity, change of domicile cases, prenuptial agreements, custody, parenting time and support issues (both pre and post-judgment), acknowledgment of parentage matters, and complicated interstate, as well as international custody cases. She has represented clients from other states and other countries, including Australia, Dubai, Japan, China, Guam, and Brazil. Carmen has regularly practiced in the family courts of Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, and, more recently, Monroe and Lenawee County.
Carmen is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 2002. She spent two years on the Wayne Law Review and completed internships with both the U.S. District Attorney's Office and the Honorable Judge Rosen, former federal district court judge, Eastern District of Michigan.
Carmen is a past co-author of "Unpublished Decision of the Month," Michigan Family Law Journal. Her other published works appear below. In addition to practicing law, Carmen has volunteered at Compassion Ministry in Milan, Michigan, as well as Gleaners in Detroit. She has worked with the Women's Survival Center of Oakland County, as well as the Christian Legal Aid Society of Michigan. She has participated in the Oakland County Bar Association Pro Bono Mentor Program.
Allexis M. Stang graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University in 2020, where she graduated a year early and earned a bachelor's degree in criminology and a minor in pre-law studies. After earning her bachelor's degree, Allexis attended the University of Toledo College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude in December of 2022, a semester early, with her Juris Doctor degree.
During her first year at the University of Toledo College of Law, Allexis interned at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio for the Honorable Judge James R. Knepp II. Allexis was the Vice President of the Family and Juvenile Law Society and a teaching assistant for the Contracts I class. In addition, Allexis is one of the co-founders of the truancy mediation program between the University of Toledo College of Law and Roger's High School in Toledo, Ohio. Allexis has over 60 certified hours of mediation training through the Supreme Court of Ohio. Allexis earned several awards and scholarships while attending law school, including the Honorable Frank Witt Wiley Scholarship, the Jermann Scholarship, and the J. Thomas Lenga Memorial Scholarship, the Joel A. and Shirley A. Levine Public Interest Fellowship in Alternative Dispute Resolution Award, and the Levinson Family Dispute Resolution Clinic Award.
Allexis joined Churchill, Smith, Gonzalez & Kuhn, LLP as an intern during her second year of law school and became an Associate Attorney after passing the bar in May of 2023. Allexis has an interest in the practice areas of family law and juvenile law.
Cameron A. Ervin graduated magna cum laude from The University of Toledo, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Law and Social Thought while playing football for the University of Toledo Rockets. After only two and a half years of undergraduate studies, Cameron attended the University of Toledo College of Law, graduating in December of 2023 with his Juris Doctor degree.
During his time at the University of Toledo College of Law, Cameron was the Student Bar Association President and a member of the Trial Advocacy team for two years. Cameron was also one of the Co-Founders of the Trial Advocacy Spring Competition at the University of Toledo College of Law. During law school, Cameron was a certified legal intern at the Toledo Legal Aid Society and the University of Toledo College of Law Civil Advocacy Clinic. Once Cameron completed law school, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society for graduated law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrated exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. Cameron passed the Michigan February 2024 Bar Examination and joined the firm shortly after.
